Team Walter
Team Walter is a multi-weight class team based out of Northern New Jersey and captained by Jay Ciuba. Team Walter has competed at a variety of events, their first being SWORD 2021 with Wilbert, which placed fourth.
Originally known as Team Wilbert, Team Walter now competes with the 3lb bots Walter and Marvin.

Bots
Wilbert
Class: Beetleweight
Wilbert was the first bot to run under what is now Team Walter. Only competing at SWORD 2021, Wilbert won 2 of its fights, defeating Awfset and Smeeeeeeeeeee by JD and KO respectively. However, it was destroyed by Starchild, and, after recovering and fighting Awfset, Wilbert’s run for the ages came to a halt via pitting by Smee. Wilbert became the namesake of the team. Wilbert has been retired and now resides on a shelf somewhere in the Tri-State area.
Wilma
Class: Antweight
Wilma was Team Walter’s only venture into the Antweight class to date. A viper kit, Wilma competed at four events; First State Fights in late 2021, Mechanical Mayhem Winter 2022, and SWORD at the Museum 2022. Wilma only won 2 of its 6 fights, and lost all of its matches via KO. Wilma is also retired and is essentially scrap parts. Wilma may become a plastic ant eventually, but not in the same form.
Walter
Class: Beetleweight
Following the destruction of Wilma at Mechanical Mayhem, Team Wilbert debuted Walter at Motorama 2022, where it placed 5th, defeating multiple bots, including Off Killter and Ti before losing to The Greatest Danger.
After this, Walter would make its first appearance at NHRL, at the May 2021 New Bots event, placing 5th yet again and defeating bots such as the Tale of Three Hams, Backlash Wave, and Spitfire, before losing to Saw Loser 2 and forfeiting due to a lack of spare weapon motor pulleys. The team name would be changed to Team Walter after this event.
Following this event, Walter would compete at Mechanical Mayhem Summer 2022, defeating Sonic and Argon Lights for a 1st place finish, Walter’s only event victory to date. Walter would then compete at SWORD at the Museum 2022, getting 4th and defeating the likes of Killer Angel and Broker but losing to Up Chuck for a shot in the final 3-way battle.
Walter and its new teammate Marvin began 2023 with a 3-4 finish at GSCRL Winter, with Walter besting Killer Angel and Taco Libre but losing to Jet Lag and Bake for a respectable 4th.
In its last two events, however, Walter has only won 3 of its 6 fights, all 3 wins being KOs but also being eliminated early at Moto 2023 and NHRL March 2023. As of current, Walter is inactive. He will be back to finish what he started…
Marvin
Marvin is the latest addition to the Team Walter lineup. Debuting at GSCRL Winter 2023 alongside Walter, Marvin has won by KO in every single one of its fights as of NHRL March 2023, but is yet to reach above 3rd place. At GSCRL Winter, Marvin defeated Argon Lights and Killer Angel, but lost in a devastating bout with Jet Lag. After, Marvin would have a less-than-stellar performance at Motorama 2023, losing both of its fights to Andromeda and Silent Stopper. Following this, Marvin would compete at NHRL March 2023, defeating both A Dozen Bolts and BX11B by knockout, but being forced to forfeit due to time constraints. Marvin then competed at June Jumble for GSCRL, winning half of its fights but being eliminated by Fireball. Since then, Marvin has competed at NHRL in August and GSCRL in October, the later of which Marvin had to compete without a weapon due to technical mishaps (Marvin pushbot 2024?) Marvin is active, and will continue competition in the future, as various upgrades have been made including moving over to Dartboxes and more powerful ESCs/batteries.
