			The overall prize pool has increased but we have looked to try to make it a more fair and equitable distribution with regards to the costs associated with competing in each weight class.

			So for the first time we are now awarding prizes for 3rd and 4th place in the 12 & 30lb class, as well as an increase to the 2nd place prize for both 12 & 30lb class

			This year, we’ve made the decision not to run our STEM Grants & Giving program alongside the World Championships. As we shared in our fall AMA, the past couple of seasons have taught us a lot - not only about the logistical challenges of giving to dozens of organizations but also about which approaches truly drive meaningful growth for the sport. We still have money left over from last year’s grants that have not been donated yet. By taking a step back to strategically rethink our giving initiatives, we can ensure that any future grants maximize their impact, helping us support the future of robot fighting in a more effective and sustainable way.
