A large amount of research both online and in person was conducted with the aim to make an effective and optimal design. The robot was designed to be a 3lb horizontal spinner that utilizes a hub motor and a plastic body. A hub motor provides the robot with significant power and speed in a small form factor while the plastic body utilizes impact-resistant polymers that offer high amounts of durability and resilience. |

Steel Slinger is part of a senior capstone final project.
Further information about the robot and it's documentation can be found in the robots final report as well as other documents in the shared google drive. Feel free to search around. Model files are also uploaded in the folder.
