Jenson is a 3lb robot designed and built by NURC member Kevin Beck. He has a unique horizontal spinner described by NHRL announcers as comparable to a 5-iron golf club due to its chamfered edge, designed to apply forces in both the horizontal and vertical directions. Despite this, Jenson was woefully underpowered due to a low-KV motor and high gear ratio, resulting in an energy in the vicinity of 180 J, much less than robots such as Sepi01.

Jenson's younger brother, Gordon, is slated to compete in the May 2023 NHRL competition with a higher-energy spinner.
