Waddles! is a 30lb modular bot made by members of the WPI Combat Robotics club. As members of the club graduate, new members will fill their spots on the team so Waddles! will always be made of current WPI students. This gives club members the opportunity to flex their building skills they built up from lower weight classes in a higher weight class format. The modular nature of the bot allows a large number of club members to work on different parts of the bot at once. Much of the bot is custom machined aluminum, most of which is done in-house by team members thanks to the Washburn Labs at WPI. |

While the bot has historically used it's undercutter, the team hopes to gain strategic advantages against the competition with their beater bar module and may design other modules in the future. |

Robot Facts
Waddles! is a chance for experienced WPI beetle builders to advance their skills in designing and manufacturing larger robots. It is also intended as a pipeline for important skills and knowledge so that they are not lost when seniors graduate. Waddles! is all student led and organized.
