This is a partial description of the typical show rundown during 2021. Elements of this rundown still appear in modern NHRL event streams, especially NHRL PrimeTime.
Typical Show Rundown

| 2:00 | Announcers Intro | Describe themselves and the event. Talk about the format, competitors, weight classes etc | |
| 1:00 | Introduce Judges | Announcers intro the judges and talk about what they are looking to see | |
| 2:00 | Talk about the bracket | Interesting Fights... A bit about the format etc | |
| 4:00 | Tour of the space and load in of the first match | Mobile cam follows around the arena and watches the first competitors load in | |
| 10:10a | Fight Fight Begins | First fights will be the first time competitors | |
| Fight order slowly flows into first time bots and then more experienced |
Round 1 Fights Happen (16 Fights or so)
