Hovercarts are a 50 Day special Go Kart. Designed out of plywood, tubed aluminum, diamond plate, and school chairs these carts might not look like much but they sure can move when they want to. These small but nimble carts are able to move at lighting fast speed and are controlled with an openTX transmitter. This enables the driver to control their cart in any manor they would please. The drive train for these cart consists of hoverboard wheels that have been paired with VESC mini ESCs and are running off a power house of two 6s 5000mAH batteries in series. With all of this power tuning the acceleration profile was a critical step to ensure that each cart could squeeze all the performance contained within these components. |
