The bot wasn't ready in time, and had to forfeit its fights in the bracket. Unfortunately, my opponent Free Trial had to forfeit as well so I was advanced to the bracket with a win via forfeit, where I promptly lost by forfeit. Our team has struggled with getting our bots ready in time for competition and ended up grinding out the last week or two beforehand to do way too much work without time to properly fix issues. We've got a new rule going that you can't register your bot unless it has passed our in house safety checklist first, which is going to alleviate issues like this at least somewhat. |
