===Greenroom===
Before fights competitors bring their completed entries to the green room. They wait here till their match is called. Competitors can only bring the entries they wish to fight in their fighting state. You cannot modify your robot once you bring it to the green room. Basic tools to turn on and off the robot are allowed. Refreshments are available for bot builders in the green room.

We look to start early so we can end early. As a rule no NHRL will go past Midnight EST.

Every competing team is provided with pit space at NHRL. This gives you room to charge batteries, repair your robot, make last minute changes, etc. Pit locations are first come, first serve. Pits are generally available both outside and inside. The pit environment can be a little chaotic at times but is always friendly and cooperative. Bot builders help each other when they can to so that everyone is ready to fight. For many competitors, time spent hanging out in the pits is as fun as competing.

Competitors will be assigned a pit location. Pits are where you can store your gear, test and assemble your robot, and charge your batteries. Each team gets:
* 6ft Folding table

* Power strip with 3 outlets
* One chair (bring more if you need them)
* At least one folding chair
* 120V Powerstrip
* High quality WIFI
* Each robot will get a minimum of 20 minutes of pit time between matches. Robots not ready to fight after 20 minutes may have to forfeit their matches.

Competitors will also have access to full machine shop for last minute tweaks and fixes. We also have lots of spare parts on hand should you need them. Please be aware though that during event day [[NHRL 2021 Staff|NHRL Staff]] Will be very busy and may not have time to spend helping everyone.

==Green Room==
The Green Room is an area where competitors who are in the next 10 fights to wait until they are called to the cage. This area features comfy seating, large TVs to watch the fights on, and tables to place your bots and charge up spare batteries.

== Workshop & Machine Shop ==
For last-minute repairs, the NHRL machine shop and workshop are both open for use by competitors. If you need help or do not know how to safely operate a tool, NHRL workshop staff would be happy to assist.

Please note that while we will try to help you as much as we can, you should arrive with your bot fully operating! We do not have the facilities or the time to help overhaul a robot before fights.
