Participant Agreement

page=1 Here's an overview of the Participant Agreement in more general terms. You are still required to read and agree to the full agreement before submitting your registration. You are participating in and/or attending a Havoc Robotics ("Havoc") event, and in doing so, you are agreeing to the following terms. If you are registering on behalf of another attendee or participant (such as if you are a parent/guardian of a minor, or registering on behalf of other members of a team), you are confirming that the people you are registering for are also aware of these terms and accept them.

• You agree that Havoc can record, film, and photograph you, etc., and use it in content that Havoc or its partners distribute online (such as in a livestream, or on social media).
• At any point in time, if you are behaving in a way that could harm Havoc or any other participants or attendees, or for any other reason, Havoc can require you leave or otherwise not attend an event.
• You understand that by attending or participating in a Havoc event, there are some risks, and you could suffer or incur loss, damages, injury, claims, suits, costs or expenses ("Damages") to yourself, your property, and/or your intellectual property. You agree that you won't hold Havoc (or its agencies) responsible or liable for any Damages you incur as a result of attending or participating in the event, nor if the event is canceled or postponed.
• You agree that all content created at and all materials distributed at or in connection with the Event, such as photos, video, or logos, are Havoc's Intellectual Property and therefore owned by Havoc.
• Additionally, Havoc does not claim ownership of any of your Intellectual Property that you bring to or use during the event, such as robot designs or custom technology.
• Havoc does not guarantee that you will receive prize money, and prize amounts can change or be eliminated. If you win a prize, you are responsible for paying any applicable taxes on the prize amount.
• By providing your email address and phone number, Havoc can contact you. But we won't sell or give your email to others.
• If you, your team or your robot(s) have any active sponsor relationships, you need to disclose those relationships to Havoc when you register. You can't actively promote your sponsors during the event (such as by mentioning them in an on-camera interview or awards presentation), or use content captured by Havoc to promote your sponsorship (such as by using event photos or footage in a branded social media post), unless Havoc gives you permission to do so.
• If there is a legal dispute between you and Havoc, it will be subject to confidential, binding arbitration.
• You agree to comply with all applicable laws while attending or participating in a Havoc event.
