Brandon Young

Brandon Young is a long-time NHRL competitor, having built numerous bots across multiple weight classes. Brandon has built the 3lb robots Terrorpin, Phenomena, Super Ferocious, and Professor Hex; the 12lb robot Demogorgon; the 12lb sportsman Tarkus; and the 30lb robots Mahna Mahna, Fracas, Warlock (as part of the UMD Leatherbacks team), Vorion, and Phenomenon. As of August 2025, Brandon has secured two golden dumpsters for the 30lb weight class, with Vorion and Phenomenon in 2023 and 2024 respectively.

As of 2025, Brandon co-hosts the Behind the Bots podcast with fellow NHRL competitor Jake Hoffmann.
