Background
Game_Over was Game-U's debut into combat robotics, proposed as a way to involve staff and students in an exciting project to promote the robotics program. Developed in 90 days, Game_Over aimed to be the first walking robot at NHRL with multiple degrees of freedom on each leg, allowing for advanced levels of articulation. The design was showcased at NHRL's September 2023 event, where it experienced critical failures in the pits, and was forced to forfeit both qualifying fights. Through the support of NHRL's community, notably the team at DEISy Robotics and the Sleepy Anime Girl Club, Game_Over was able to put on a livestreamed exhibition match against Chainsaw Kitty, using the DEISy team's minibot as a drive system. Game_Over was the first in its series, and was redesigned into Game_On for the NHRL 2024 season.
Statistics
Game_Over did not compete in any official matches, and was destroyed in its one and only exhibition match against Chainsaw Kitty.
