What happens when you have beetle-weight testing to do but the team lives 1,600 miles apart? Create a Texas variant!
War Machine is primarily driven by Paul Ogin. Paul has been building combat robots since 2004. After 16 years of building antweights, he got into the beetle class after he finally convinced his friend Dan Baratta to join the team and built a robot. Dan chose to build a 3 pounder and the rest is history. All the parts on this robot (besides the awesome parts from sendcutsend) are either cut or printed at Paul’s house on a $200 3D printer or a $300 desktop CNC which helps aid in keeping costs down.
